We offer you our customers some of the same food items that we use here at Tiki Tiki Reptiles. From Roaches to Houseflies a gut loaded, hydrated and varied diet is important to any pet. If you are looking for a specific type of food item that we do not offer please let us know and we will try to help track it down for you.

 


Dubia Roach Colony

Tired of always buying crickets? Consider starting a colony of roaches! As unappealing as that may sound it is really not as bad as you may think. Dubia roaches will not climb glass or any smooth surface so keeping them in something like a plastic sweater box or small aquarium with a vented lid is a piece of cake. They will not reproduce away from the heat of the colony, they give live birth, they are a great feeder insect with their soft bodies, they are prolific, and 9 out of 10 chameleons agree that they taste great! Our Starter colonies come with enough adults to begin producing right away as well as an assortment of small roaches that will begin to breed soon. Total roach count will be around 40.

House Flies / Pupae

I know what you are thinking; why would I want to BUY house flies and who the heck would sell house flies? The answer to that is an easy one, chameleon owners and breeders! Chameleons L-O-V-E house flies, the fast motion of the insect zooming around is like a chameleon magnet. Though they don’t make for a very filling meal they are highly entertaining to watch and are a good enrichment feeder. You will receive around 100 fly pupae with your order that will hatch soon after arrival, if you like you can delay hatching by putting the pupae into the refrigerator. We have these available 80% of the time however contact us before ordering to make sure we have enough extra in stock.
